FROM ISTANBUL TO JASIENICA WITH LOVE

"This month our 4th graders have started a postcard exchange project with Polish students from Tadeusz Kosciuszko School in Jasienica. This year’s theme is ¨From Istanbul to Jasienica with Love¨, so apart from introducing themselves, students have to also describe the city they live in. Our students did a fantastic job. They prepared amazing postcards and described Istanbul beautifully. Today we have learnt that our Polish friends already received our postcards. So now, we are impatiently waiting for their replies.

PEN PALS FROM TURKEY / 4A and 4B
Wow! Look how much letters and postcards we have received from Istek Ozel school in Istambul in Turkey! Mrs Sugden (Aggie = Agnieszka) the teacher of English says there are 46 of them altogether. It should be enough to give everyone a chance to choose one for him/herself. Thank you! I bet you're already curious what's hiding inside of them :). We'll see on Wednesday and will answer all of them as soon as possible. In the meantime we're sending you hugs and sunshine from Poland.

Wow! Spójrzcie ile listów i kartek otrzymaliśmy ze szkoły Istek Ozel w Istambule w Turcji. Pani Agnieszka Sugden, nauczycielka angielskiego, mówi, że jest ich razem 46. Powinno wystarczyć, aby każdy miał szansę wybrać jedną dla siebie. Dziękujemy! Założę się, że jesteście ciekawi, co kryje się w środku :). Sprawdzimy w środę i odpowiemy na wszystkie tak szybko, jak to tylko możliwe. W międzyczasie, przesyłamy uściski i dużo słońca z Polski. Bądźcie w kontakcie i odwiedzajcie czasem naszego bloga.

FOX 2016
1st March - a very special day for the English language fans! Yes, this was the day when a group of 23 students wrote the National English Language Contest FOX 2016.
There were two levels of tests:
- Kittens - 4th grade learners
- Bunnies - 5th and 6th grade ones

Time: 75 minutes.
Were the tests difficult? I'm not sure but almost all the contestants were pretty positive about the future results. We'll see in May, when the score lists arrive to school.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
