I'm very happy to announce that our postcards and letters have just arrived to Istanbul in Turkey!

I hope you enjoyed reading what Polish children had to say about themselves and the village they come from.

We wish you a HAPPY CHILDREN'S DAY (23rd April)! In Poland we celebrate the Children's Day on 1th June... so we must wait a little bit longer. Something tells me it's going to be a Family Picnic Day together with some sports competitions.

Sports day and Polish Marzanna drowning tradition...

The 21^st of March – the first day of spring! Finally! To celebrate the special day the teachers organised lots of sports competitions and a walk to the nearest small river to keep the tradition of drowning a straw doll representing Winter, known as Marzanna. Each class was to make a seperate doll and all did great. Certainly it was a day of fun... and we love such days, don't we?

SPORTS - DISTRICT VOLLEYBALL COMPETITION

On February the 12^th there was a special day for sports lovers – the district volleyball competition took place in our school. All the neighbour schools met together to fight for the first prize. Our girls team won the 3rd place. How amazing! The boys team won the 5th place but they said they would do better next time :).

SMACZNE LEKCJE PRZYRODY

Na ostatnich lekcjach przyrody uczniowie klas szóstych uczyli się na temat krajów basenu Morza Śródziemnego. Oprócz informacji o państwach śródziemnomorskich, skupiliśmy się na kulinariach tych miejsc. Tradycyjne dania, pochodzące m.in. z Hiszpanii, Francji, Grecji, Włoch, Chorwacji, Turcji, Cypru i Malty, uczniowie pracując w grupach,  przyrządzali samodzielnie, a następnie wspólnie z nauczycielem degustowali śródziemnomorskie pyszności. Najsmaczniejsza lekcja przyrody była nowym i ciekawym doznaniem dla naszych podniebień.

PRIMA APRILIS / APRIL FOOL'S DAY: MINI TEACHERS - 5B

Did you know we have 6 new English teachers at school???? Yes, we do! Today, I saw them running the 5th grade lessons - 45 minutes long! I'm not joking. The topic was: Favourite sports.
The new teachers are young and have little teaching experience but they did very well. Excellent job! Well done! Brilliant :)!
I hope they will not take my place since now on... ;)
